Constellation Concept 2

One advantage to using halo orbits for a lunar communication relay satellites is that the constellation can evolve seamlessly to provide any additional coverage that the users require. This example shows that adding an additional halo orbiter to the opposite side of the L2 halo gives continuous coverage of the south pole. A third halo orbiter would enable redundancy in the south pole coverage, and allow for constant communication with almost the entire far side.
