Stable Manifolds
In phase 3 of a Ballistic Lunar Transfer (BLT), the spacecraft arrives on the stable manifold of the lunar halo orbit at L2 (LL2) and then asymptotically approaches the halo orbit with no insertion maneuver. The BLT is shown in blue, and the stable manifold of the destination lunar halo orbit is green.
